THE COURSE

Gun barrel hole. The green is quite long so an extra club is sometimes needed for your approach shot. Don't miss the green right as you will need a great lob shot to get up and down. A 5 is good score here.

Great par 5 and reachable for 2 if you are big hitter. Lay up your second shot just before the green side bunkers on this hole unless your long enough to get to the green for 2. This will allow for an easy shot to the pin.

A blind tee shot and danger going left with out of bounds. Lay up just before the bunkers or down the right hand side of the bunkers.

The undulating green is the place to be. It can play long into the wind so if short make sure you miss on the same side of the green as the pin.

Best to place your driver just left or right of the scrub mound in the middle of the fairway. Locals hit at the mound and left thier natural shape take care of the rest. The green is quite long so you have a big landing space. Water to the left of the green.

Try to get the ball on the same tier as the pin otherwise it will be a tough putt. If you miss short middle is the place to be.

Don't do it!... most long hitters fail to drive this green. A strategic hole you want to lay short of the water leaving a mid iron or wedge into the green. Another signature hole.

The hardest hole on the course due to the wind and hazard on the left hand side. Plenty of landing room for the driver on the right and if long enough, over the bunkers. 5 is a good score here.

Great driving hole just watch the water on the right as you may run out of room. Long elevated green so see where the flag is as you may need an extra club to get it to the back of the green.

There are 3 bunkers on the left hand side. If you feel confident, aim over the 3rd bunker from the left otherwise just right of the bunker is fine. If you're lucky you will get a great roll down the fairway. If you miss the green right you will have an up hill shot or be in the bunker.

Classic long par 3. If you can't reach, take the club you hit best. Very long green so if the pin is at the back take an extra club. If you make par reward yourself.

A nervous tee shot awaits. Just hit it over the reeds on this long par 4. If feeling long you can go over the middle bunkers. Another big elevated green so plenty of landing area. A 5 is normally a good score here.

You will see some hairy bunkers on the left, your aim is just right of these. Get a good bounce and you will run down the hill. Downhill shot to the green, try to hit the ball on the same tier as the flag.

A blind tee shot but not to worry as it is not an overlay long par 4. Your line is just right of the bunker on the left. Big hitters can aim over this bunker. Tricky green to get close to the flag when pin is at the back.

A reachable par 5 for long hitters but bunkers can catch the stray ball. Keep the drive on the fairway and if you miss the green miss short left, anywhere else will be a struggle.

A great signature par 3 hole. If you can't make the green over the water take the club you hit best and go down the left hand side.

A great par 4 to finish the round. Being on the top side of the fairway will give you a good look at the green. Your second shot needs to be good to avoid rolling off the green.
